2 : to be united as partners, as in joined in matrimony.
Two people, two families, two budgets, joined into one wedding. That is the whole job, and the name.

First city: Chicago
Why Chicago first
We start where we can show up in person. Chicago is home, so it is the first city we plan in depth: real costs, venues we can see, and vendors we can check, including through our vendor features, Joined By.
Chicago is the first test market, not the whole brand. The method is built to travel. Every city gets the same decision help, the same pricing in context, and the same honest verdicts. More cities come as we can cover them well.
The person behind it
Who runs Bejoined, and how
Bejoined is run by Adam Nasif in Chicago. He is not a wedding vendor and does not sell wedding services. Adam selects the topics, reviews the sources and recommendations, and approves everything before it is published. Personal, family, and business relationships are disclosed wherever they are relevant.
Articles are researched and written with AI assistance for research organization, drafting, editing, and site production; the editorial decisions stay with Adam. Factual claims, like costs and rules, are cited to named sources with dates.
When vendors appear, their answers are real responses gathered for Bejoined with written permission; nothing is paid placement, no one is paid to answer, and no interview, visit, photograph, price, or personal experience is ever invented.
How we make money
Plainly: Bejoined plans to earn through ads, affiliate links, sponsored posts, and sponsored vendor features. Nothing sponsored or affiliate is live yet.
When it is, it gets labeled where you can see it, on the page, every time. And the rule that does not move: payment never buys a verdict. A sponsor can buy a placement and the label says so; a sponsor cannot buy what we conclude about cost, fit, or whether something is worth it.
Joined By features (Ask the Vendor, The Visit, and The Panel) are not paid placements. Any future sponsored feature will use a separate format and will be labeled clearly.
