The Visit
The Visit is Bejoined's planned first-person series about Chicago venues and wedding businesses. Each feature will be based on a real visit, direct questions, current details, and disclosed relationships.
Every Visit says plainly whether it was independent, hosted, or comped; never sponsored, never a paid placement. Arrangements are agreed in writing before we go, and every photo is our own.
What a Visit gives you
A Visit does the first round of homework for you, so you spend fewer inquiries and dead-end tours on the wrong fit. You reach out already knowing what a business will share about price, who it fits, and what to ask, plus where it keeps things private.
Know before you reach out
What a listing leaves out, as far as the business will put on record: pricing when shared, who it fits, who should skip it, and a worth-it verdict. When a business keeps pricing private, we say so.
Real visits only
Every feature starts with an in-person visit, date-stamped, with the arrangement disclosed. Nothing gets published that we did not see or confirm ourselves.

Venues, photo and video, catering, florals, beauty, music, planning, and more: the businesses couples weigh against each other most, each held to the same standard.
